Watt-lite Twist

As my master's thesis in Product Realisation & Management, KTH, I participated in the project InCharge, initiated by Interactive Institute. InCharge aims to investigate how the energy use within office environments can be embodied in IT-based prototyping to motivate and engage employees to more efficient energy use. And to create a deeper understanding of the ways in which we can use design to influence the use and behavior patterns. The project consists of a feasibility study containing an identification and development of design methodology, a prototype development and a behavioral study of the developed design examples.

I participated in the prototype phase of the project and worked with the realisation of a new design concept called Watt-lite Twist; a product that visualizes energy consumption in office environments.
